Middlesbrough Labour Party are thinking about organising a fighting fund in light of the High Court decision concerning events i<?XML:NAMESPACE PREFIX = ASP /><ASP:TEXTBOX id=txtEnquiry Wrap="false" TextMode="MultiLine">n Darwin Lanchashire. Readers will recall that earlier this year the residents won their battle against CPO. Well now the High Court have asked the Local Authority not undertake any demolitions
and the demolition that they started has to be made secure and the area tidied up to make it safe. The High Court found that the Local Authority have acted unlawfully in starting to undertake demolition and costs were awarded against them. S</ASP:TEXTBOX>o due to this unlawfull action and our concerns that our own dubious claims of "housing market failure" and "demolition is for the greater good of Middlesbrough" etc etc - may very well not stand up to legal scrutiny. We as Labour Party Members in control of Middlesbrough have decided to raise funds in case those damn Gresham Residents get any bright ideas of making any claims through the Courts for compensation etc -
the sooner we ethnic cleanse and gentrify Gresham and are rid of home owning protestors the better off we will all be. That is Middlesbrough Executive, Middlesbrough Labour Party Group and our friends and partners the Land Developers. In the mean time any donations are most welcome to swell our coffers. We did consider using Community Tax money again. But we worry we can't keep that quiet for long this time. Like when we used over £1,500,000 of Middlesbrough Community Tax to support phase 1a Gresham demolition. We do worry people in Middlesbrough see right through the only failures this town suffers from -
i.e. -- ourselves -
for trying all the tricks under the sun to push for demolition but we are finding it very hard not to tell the truth so
PLEASE PLEASE HELP US VOLUNTEER TO DONATE FUNDS TO SAVE THE LABOUR GROUP FROM HAVING TO RAISE COMMUNITY TAX NEXT YEAR TO HELP PAY FOR ALL OUR DEMOLITION---
